Leica M Typ 262

german camera manufacturer Leica recently announced the newest addition to their M range, the Typ 262, which embodies the M philosophy in its purest form, as they removed the video functionality. also the live view feature was stripped-down, resulting in a very clean menu which consists of only two pages. with only 600 grams it is almost 100 grams lighter than its bigger brother. check your local camera dealer for availability and watch the video below where photographer Craig Semetko gives a brief introduction into rangefinder cameras (with the Typ 240 though). for more informations about the M Typ 262 click here.
