Snake & Bones

once again WTAPS teamed up with Vans, perfectly timed for their 20th, respectively 50th anniversary. in addition to the well know bones motif which will be featured on the Chukka, Sk8-Hi and Authentic silhouette, they'll offer a snake-embossed leather Era. the Era will be available on August 27th along with the bones collection releasing on September 10th.

Nike brings back the Air Zoom Spiridon which is my go to running shoe to this day. perfect timing as my pair is up for replacing. the Spiridon was first released in '97 and was the first shoe to feature a full length Zoom Air unit. check out the original Spiridon ad below.

Maison Margiela Future Sneaker

the Future version is one of the best iterations of their German Army Trainer with its hidden lacing (like all GATs you can wear them laceless, but on this one it makes most sense). get your pair from Dope Factory or directly from Margiela's eboutique.

ALIFE x Puma Suede

this is by far the best Puma release in a long time. the german footwear brand teamed up with NYC's ALIFE to commemorate their 15th anniversary. made from a fuzzy suede, the whole shoe features a weathered look which resembles the New York streets. finished off with golden "Lower East Side" and "New York City" branding, these are a must for any NYC fan. i just ordered my pair on sale from End Clothing.

Nike announces return of ACG

yesterday Nike announced the return of its ACG (All Conditions Gear) line which was discontinued a few years ago. below you can watch the short teaser video and my personal Top 5 shoes (in no particular order), although the Salbis was never released and the Lava Dome isn't a true ACG release as it appeared 1981 (ACG was officially launched in '89), but it's a type of blueprint for the whole line. i'm really excited that ACG will make a comeback.
