remember the Canon AE-1 i've picked up earlier this year? since then i was on the hunt for the FD 50mm f/1.4 lens. lucky me, as i got the lens for the average market price, but including the A-1 (which is kind of the pro-version of the AE-1). the A-1 was build from 1978-1985 and was the first SLR to offer an electronically controlled programmed autoexposure mode. today this feature can be found in virtually every camera in production.
