made in a factory in Kurume, Japan that was founded in 1873, these shoes are truly made like pottery. each shoe is hand-sewn by the experienced craftsmen of the Moonstar factory and then fired in a kiln. this process is called ka-ryu, which gives the shoe its soft, flexible and durable sole.
