winter favorites

the mighty internet says that we'll get the first snow by this evening so i dug out some of my favorite boots for this winter. clockwise, starting top left:
COMME des GARCONS x Tricker's collab, Blackbird x Alden Tugger Work Boot, BEAMS Plus, Grenson Archie Tan (ok, not a boot in the classical sense, but it fits nicely in the row).
maybe i'll put one or two of them on my wishlist for christmas!

Decoded out now...

Jay-Z's anticipated book Decoded is out now. he writes about his
past, his coming to hip hop and "decodes" 36 of his most influental
tracks. my order has been placed, i'm really looking forward to get this.

burning rubber

Detroit based sneaker boutique Burn Rubber recently teamed up with New Balance to create something that really took my attention. my favorite NB model, the 580, in 2 really nice colorways. powder blue and grey, both in the quality nubuck leather we all know from New Balance and classic mesh. the inside has an argyle pattern in the shop colors and the cherry on top is the gum sole wich looks absolutely stunning in combination with the 2 upper colors. the shoes will be available on Nov. 26th, hopefully on their online shop too.

NYC loft

2 Cooper offers some really nice apartments in New York City, located on
2 Cooper Square in the East Village, surrounded by cool bars, shops and
entertainment options. with every apartment you get a concierge
service, fitness rooms and a rooftop terrace with a pool, an amazing view
over NYC included. check their website for the offered apartments, they all
vary in sizes and prices. i'm getting the first one for a monthly rent of 4000$.
