Handmade by Oliver Goldsmith

"Oliver Goldsmith has been a family-run business for over 80 years. Founded in 1926 by P. Oliver Goldsmith, the world of spectacles was about to be revolutionized.

Think 20th Century icons. Grace Kelly. Peter Sellers. Michael Caine in his signature black spectacles. Audrey Hepburn in the big white glasses that framed her elfin face.

...first to appear in Vogue and first to be endorsed by celebrities and Royals. Oliver Goldsmith pioneered a whole new concept. Eyewear."

visvim Valdez Down Jacket

if you're still searching for a winter jacket look no further, as visvim dropped the latest iteration of its Valdez Down Jacket. this time done in an italian nylon fabric and decorated with vintage bandana and indigo fabrics. the white goose down filling, deerskin detailing and coyote fur remains as last seasons version. unfortunately it's a Japan exclusive, the rest of the world has to stick with the standard GORE-TEX® corduroy Valdez.

"Made in Japan"

today it's all about made in Japan. the Olympus OM-1 was first introduced 1972 (as M-1, the name was changed 1973 due to a lawsuit filed by Leica) and was the smallest and lightest SLR of its time. this particular model, the OM-1 MD (motor drive), was released 1974. it's accompanied by the fantastic 28mm & 50mm Zuiko lenses. the camera itself was cleaned thoroughly and the original black surface was replaced with blue leather. furthermore there's the Seiko "Sea Urchin" automatic watch which for me is one of the best entry level options out there. the international model is more commonly available, but i wanted the made in Japan version.
