anyone remembers the Nike Air Flow from back in the days? the year was 1989
and Nike was on top of the game with their running shoes. the Air Flow was ultra
lightweight due to its nylon/ lycra sock like upper. you can see some design
influences that were taken from the '89 Pegasus (although it was originally
released 1988), and it was the precursor of the Presto that would come 10 years
later. now the Flow is back..
Nike took its Lunar sole and put a Fuse upper on it that looks like the Flow. release is set for summer 2011, i'll get the black one for sure!

"MAKE NO!SE is a lifestyle multimedia project series where I highlight (via highly stylized photography and video) local creatives, such as artists, musicians, DJs, that are making noise within their respective crafts/industries.
In this first edition of MAKE NO!SE, which is supported by DC Shoes' Life Collection, I highlight a DJ by the name of DJ 2-Tone Jones."
the mighty internet says that we'll get the first snow by this evening so i dug out some of my favorite boots for this winter. clockwise, starting top left:
COMME des GARCONS x Tricker's collab, Blackbird x Alden Tugger Work Boot, BEAMS Plus, Grenson Archie Tan (ok, not a boot in the classical sense, but it fits nicely in the row).
maybe i'll put one or two of them on my wishlist for christmas!

"INFLUENCERS is a short documentary that explores what it means to be an influencer and how trends and creativity become contagious today in music, fashion and entertainment.
The film attempts to understand the essence of influence, what makes a person influential without taking a statistical or metric approach.
Written and Directed by Paul Rojanathara and Davis Johnson, the film is a Polaroid snapshot of New York influential creatives (advertising, design, fashion and entertainment) who are shaping today's pop culture.
"Influencers" belongs to the new generation of short films, webdocs, which combine the documentary style and the online experience."
Detroit based sneaker boutique Burn Rubber recently teamed up with New Balance to create something that really took my attention. my favorite NB model, the 580, in 2 really nice colorways. powder blue and grey, both in the quality nubuck leather we all know from New Balance and classic mesh. the inside has an argyle pattern in the shop colors and the cherry on top is the gum sole wich looks absolutely stunning in combination with the 2 upper colors. the shoes will be available on Nov. 26th, hopefully on their online shop too.

here you can see some styles of the upcoming spring/ summer season
from Gourmet. i'm really diggin' the Quadici in the black/ leopard colorway
and the one in the second picture that looks like a hybrid between the
Quadici and the 28.

today i received my highly anticipated Gourmet Quadici. as
usual, Gourmet Footwear did a fine job on these.
quality leather & rubber for the wet and cold season, all in a
great appearance. my favorite footwear brand at the moment
and definitely not my last pair from you guys.
i already own a pair of these, but i couldnt resist to buy it again, as
i saw that gramstore still has a few in stock. limited to 800 pairs
worldwide, these were kinda hard to get. they come with a waterproof
duffel bag, extra laces and a set of replaceable soles, all packed in a
nice box. if you can get your hands on a pair, you should snap one!
